My #1 Health Hack: Gut Healthy Ginger Shots
Every morning before I eat my breakfast, I down this immune boosting shot to not only provide me with healthy nutrients but also promote digestion, long-term gut health and hydration (we wake up dehydrated!)
I use a juicer for this recipe but you can also use a blender!
Ingredients:
Ginger Root
Turmeric Root
Lemons
Limes
Oil of Oregano
Aloe Vera Juice
Apple Cider Vinegar
Organic Coconut Milk
Method:
Soak the turmeric and ginger root in a bath or water and white distilled vinegar to remove any dirt from the skins
Cut or break apart the ginger and turmeric root into roughly 1 inch pieces (easier to juice or blend when they are smaller)
Cut your lemons and limes in half
Juice or blend the ginger, turmeric, lemons and limes
Once juiced, put into a large pitcher and add in your coconut milk, aloe Vera juice, apple cider vinegar and oil of oregano (I do about 2 full droppers but be careful with this you don’t want to take TOO much daily)
Portion into glass bottles & store in the fridge! (Up to 2 weeks to retain freshness)
